The third edition of our quarterly newsletter is out now!
Subscribers have just received updates from the third quarter of 2025. While summer is often considered a quieter season, this quarter has been anything but. From advancing transformative projects and deepening peer learning to showcasing impact at international climate events, the Facility continues to support countries in accelerating decarbonisation and implementing their climate commitments.
Here’s a preview of what you’ll find if you subscribe to our newsletter:
From our Projects
Across our portfolio, projects are demonstrating practical solutions to reduce emissions, scale innovative technologies, and achieve transformational change.

In this edition, we featured ur Honduras Livestock project, which introduced a pioneering climate finance mechanism that will improve access to credit for small and medium-sized producers. Backed by the Honduran Bank for Production and Housing, this mechanism represents a major step toward unlocking investment for sustainable livestock technologies.
From the Call for Projects
The newsletter is your go-to source for staying up to date with our Call for Projects process.

Shortlisted Applicants who will advance to the Detailed Preparation Phase (DPP) will be notified by the end of November 2025.
From events and other engagements
We remain committed to learning and knowledge exchange – both within our portfolio and with the wider climate finance community.

One highlight from Q3 was our project’s participation at the Africa Climate Summit 2.The side event, “From Pilots to Scale”, showcased how the Mitigation Action Facility-funded projects in Kenya and Rwanda are driving clean mobility and sustainable food systems across Africa.
New resources from the Facility
Through new publications, we capture and share evidence from our portfolio – turning project results and evaluations into practical knowledge.

The recently published multipager highlights key findings from the Third Interim Evaluation of the Mitigation Action Facility (2020–2024). It offers a concise overview of our performance, lessons learned, and recommendations to strengthen future impact.
